Dreams offer an extraordinary path to uncover our innate gifts, talents, and abilities, and resolve inner conflicts, fears and limiting beliefs. By ‘waking up’ to this part of ourselves, we naturally become more fulfilled, productive, and happier human beings. Dreams also provide a new perspective to venture outside of our normal way of thinking and feeling. We begin to view the world in a new light. When we begin to see things differently, we begin to act differently, to be different. That moves us toward being our authentic selves.

In this workshop, you will discover a comprehensive set of practical methods to work with your dreams, involving highly regarded techniques that you can use alone, or with a friend. Working with methods from Jungian, Gestalt and other approaches, you will see how you can begin to ‘Wake Up’ to the unconscious material of your dreams, and bring it to conscious recognition.

Dreams have been documented as being the inspiration and solution for many important inventions and discoveries. We are often our most creative within the dream. Dreamwork is beneficial to people in every area of life–better understanding behavior, emotions, relationships, career choices, and health. In the workshop, you will learn valuable dream interpretation techniques, which will help you access and use the information your subconscious mind provides in your dreams, to live a happier, healthier and more self-actualized life.

Part of ‘waking up’ to our dreams involves lucid dreaming, or the ability to become consciously aware of dreaming, while in the dream state.  Once aware within the dream, you have a special platform of awareness from which to access inner creativity, promote psychological growth and even encourage physical healing.  As you pay attention to your dreams, lucid dreaming can assist you to gain insight about the nature and function of your larger awareness.  Lucid dreaming does not mean ‘control’ of the dream; rather, it shows us clearly that we are involved in a set of profound relationships.  The latter third of this workshop will introduce you to the key techniques of inducing and stabilizing this unique state of awareness, so that you can use it thoughtfully.
